Not in the traditional sense. Hair Weaving Solutions is a private studio, one client at a time, either at the studio or in your own home. There's no waiting room and no walk-ins.

The studio is in Bridgeport, CT, and Danni welcomes clients from across Fairfield and New Haven counties in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York. Some services can be done in your home, depending on the service and location; just note your preference when booking.

A Traditional sew-in leaves out a small amount of your natural hair for seamless blending around the hairline and part. A Versatile sew-in leaves out natural hair at the top and around the perimeter, allowing the extensions to blend seamlessly while giving you the flexibility to wear ponytails, buns, updos, and multiple parting options. In your consultation, Danni helps you choose the one that fits your hair and your lifestyle.

Not when it's installed and cared for properly; that's the whole point of a healthy-hair-first approach. Danni installs with your edges, scalp, and long-term growth in mind, and the natural hair underneath is protected while it rests. Following the care guidance between appointments keeps it healthy.

Most sew-ins are worn for about six to eight weeks before they're taken down and reinstalled, usually with a maintenance visit partway through to refresh the leave-out and care for your scalp. Leaving an install in much longer than that is where damage tends to start, so Danni sets the right window for your hair at your appointment rather than leaving it open-ended.

Keep your scalp and the leave-out clean and moisturized, be gentle around your edges, and wrap or protect your hair at night. Danni will give you guidance tailored to your install and let you know when it's time to come back for maintenance.
